Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
Our commitment
The Slipper Clutch is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to as many people as possible. We have developed this site with the goal of aligning with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines, where technically feasible.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are widely used as a benchmark in ADA Title III accessibility litigation for evaluating website accessibility. WCAG itself is not a federal law or regulatory standard. We treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment and will continue to improve as standards evolve (e.g., WCAG 2.2), technologies change, content is updated, and issues are identified.
Implemented features
We have implemented a range of features to support accessibility, including:
- Semantic HTML and clear page structure (headings, landmarks, lists)
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and focus indicators
- Screen-reader-friendly labels (e.g.,
sr-onlytext for icon-only links) - Responsive layout that works across screen sizes and zoom levels
- Meaningful link text and descriptive image alternative text
- Language declared on the page (
lang="en") for assistive technologies - An accessibility preferences panel (floating button on the right) so you can adjust text size, contrast, reduce motion, link highlighting, spacing, line height, text alignment, and related options. Your choices are saved for future visits.
Feedback process
We welcome your feedback. If the built-in preferences don’t meet your needs, or you encounter any accessibility barriers on this website, please reach out using the contact information below. We will respond to accessibility-related inquiries and, where possible, work to address reported issues.
